Curling Explained
Olympic ice sport - centuries old.
Mostly teams of four. Teams of two called mixed doubles.
Games are 8 ends (like innings in baseball).
8 rocks per end per team.
Throw rocks (42 pounds) alternating with your opponent.
Ice playing area - 120 feet long by 15 feet wide.
Sweeping make rocks go farther and straighter.
Broomstacking after the game.
